The February Exhibition at
Art Works Gallery is titled
RED (January 31st- March 5th).
The original concept behind the Exhibition
RED
was to symbolize love, lust, romance, passion.
However, in watching the disaster on December
26th, 2004 unfold in South East Asia, Art Works
Gallery has decided in making
RED symbolic of
love for our fellow man, compassion for those in
need. We are also pleased to announce that Art
Works Gallery and our artists will donate a
portion of sales from the original artwork sold
in the month of February to support the largest
disaster relief operation in history.
The gallery has been inundated with support from artists willing to create special pieces specifically for the
RED Exhibit. Nationally and internationally recognized artists, photographers and sculptors will donate their talent, time and money.
The REDExhibit runs January 31st to March 5th,
2005. Partial proceed of artwork sold will benefit the Red Cross Tsunami Relief Fund.
Art Works consultants would be pleased to answer any of your questions about the artists and the availability of their work. Please call 604.688.3301 for details.
